Ms. Mac, CSE offers SUBSTANCE:
Sex and Substance Workshops
exploring the substance of our intimate relationships & our relationship with substances
through spectrums of sex & substance use outside of traditional concepts like AA's “One Year Rule”
Each SUBSTANCE workshop:
- utilizes a harm reduction approach to LGBTQ2SIA+ sex, intimacy and dating (not abstinence-only)
- provides participants resources to encourage informed, empowered choices that support their journey with sex and substances
- offers an intersectional lens & support for all spectrums of substance usage and identity
- fosters a brave space for participants to be curious, open & connected to self & others
- utilizes a mix of pop culture & media to teach complex educational concepts from a entertaining, comprehensive lens
Previous workshop topics include, but are not limited to:
- C*mming into Queer Identity: Redefining Sober(Curious) Intimacy
- A Ghost Story: Recovering from Rejection in Recovery
- Getting Sober(Curious) About Your Pleasure: Exploring the Erotic (Collab)
